Freddy Neptune is a sculpture created by renowned artist Graham Ibbeson, which has since turned from a small bag of clay into a full product line.
The Freddy Neptune series is about a half boy, half fish who is ‘Proud to be Daft’.
The company is a small family business based in Yorkshire, England, showcasing the work of Graham and Max Ibbeson.
Graham is a well established artist renowned for his commissioned bronze sculptures of Eric Morecambe and Laurel & Hardy. He has worked throughout Europe and in the US. His fine art work has been exhibited internationally for many years to much acclaim.
Challenge
We were approached by Graham and his family to help them launch the new Freddy Neptune line of sculptures and merchandise online.
Insight
This was a brand new venture for Graham and his family. We worked very closely with him throughout this project.
Work
Whatever we built had to be incredibly user friendly and allow us plenty of scope for expansion.
We decided to use the Shopify e-commerce platform. This gave us the flexibility to ensure we were able to create a typical e-commerce experience while having a range of other features such as a gallery, news and a blog.
All of these features helped us continue the humorous theme of the Freddy Neptune character, which was vitally important to it’s success.
